Fifth grade homework for tonight if not done in class: Finish states of matter foldable.

5th Science HW

In 5th grade science today we continued working on our Destination: Climate Zone project.  Students had previously chosen a climate zone to study and done research in the computer lab (http://studentsoftheworld.info/menu_infopays.html).  Today students analyzed their data to complete temperature & precipitation graphs, as well as a Climate Zone Analysis.  If students did not complete at least the first two questions of their CZA it was assigned as homework for tonight.

4th Grade Take Home Work

Today in 4th grade Writing we worked on sentence variety.  After learning about six different types of sentences students folded a piece of construction paper and wrote out their own examples of each of these sentence types:

Six Sassy Sentences

Students who didn’t finish will be bringing their papers home tonight to wrap up as homework.  They should have their notes about the six types of sentences in their writing notebooks, but just in case a magical dog spirited them away as they traversed the space between my classroom and home here’s my powerpoint:  Six Sassy Sentences.
